Modbus TCP is an open, standardized protocol that enables broad interoperability, i.e., improved communication between devices from different manufacturers.
DEDITEC GmbH is adding the Modbus TCP feature to all Ethernet modules in its product range at no extra charge, even for products that have already been purchased.
With this enhancement, our products can now be easily integrated into existing and new PLC-controlled networks.
The new feature will be available for download as a free firmware update on our homepage from the end of September 2025. Modules from older production years can also be retrofitted with the update.
As usual, installing the new firmware and configuring the DEDITEC controller is very easy and convenient using the Windows-based ICT-Tool – even without any programming knowledge.
