USB Module with 64 TTL Inputs/Outputs

The company DEDITEC from Brühl presents its new cost-effective USB module, the USB-TTL-64. This module provides 64 TTL I/O channels, accessible via two 37-pin D-SUB connectors. With the integrated high-speed USB 2.0 controller, data transfer rates of up to 480 Mbit/s are possible.

A special feature of this module is the use of level shifters as TTL drivers. For every group of 16 TTL I/Os, the driver voltage — and therefore the TTL level — can be set to either 3.3V or 5V. Additionally, other voltages/levels (1.5V to 5V) can be supplied externally. The TTL I/O direction can be set in software, in groups of 8, individually as input or output.

The compact module, with dimensions of 90 mm x 77 mm x 42 mm (L x W x H), includes a DIN rail mounting bracket, making it easy to install in control cabinets or distribution boxes. Power is supplied via the PC’s USB port.

Software

The comprehensive Windows driver library (DELIB) enables consistent and straightforward integration of the module into nearly all major programming languages, such as C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, C#, VB.NET, Java, LabView, ProfiLab, or Licht24.

After installing the DELIB, users gain access to a wide range of pre-configured setup and testing applications.
