As D/A or A/D converters, the stand-alone modules with USB and CAN interfaces offer a wide range of application possibilities.
The new UC-USB-AD2-16_ISO: 16-bit A/D converter with galvanic isolation from DEDITEC offers greater safety when measuring and monitoring voltages and currents. Galvanic isolation protects the module and connected microprocessor circuitry. The stand-alone modules enable access times of 2.06 ms via USB-C. The galvanic isolation ensures a safe, potential-free connection between the two channels and to ground.

DEDITEC analog/digital converter modules
The UC-USB-AD2-16_ISO single measurement module is an analog-to-digital converter module with two A/D channels, each with 16-bit resolution. With this configuration, the converter is suitable for measuring and monitoring voltages and currents. For example, a sensor converts physical quantities such as pressure, temperature, or humidity into currents between 0 and 24 mA or voltages between -10 and 10 volts, which are recorded by the module and can then be digitally processed.
Galvanic isolation of the two 16-bit channels ensures that the UC-USB-DA2-16_ISO: 16-bit D/A converter provides a secure, potential-free connection. The isolation of the channels from each other and from the power supply protects the module and the connected microprocessor circuit.

DEDITEC digital/analog converter modules
