USB Mini Stick with 4 Relay Outputs

Due to popular demand, the company DEDITEC from Brühl now offers a USB mini stick with 4 relay outputs.

The USB-MINI-REL4 is a compact and cost-effective entry-level model in the field of control and automation modules. The entire electronics are integrated into a USB stick and connected via a 1.8m cable to a 9-pin D-Sub connector. The relay contacts are available directly at the 9-pin D-Sub interface.

The outputs of the USB-MINI-REL4 are implemented via 4 relays. The maximum switching voltage is 30V AC/DC (0.3A at 30V AC / 1A at 24V DC).

Timeout Protection

A timeout protection feature has also been integrated. It automatically switches off the module if no messages are received within a user-defined time period. This helps prevent control failures caused by, for example, a lost connection. The timeout protection can be enabled, disabled, and configured via software.

The compact USB mini stick, measuring 84.5 x 21 x 12.5/9.5 mm (without cable), reliably performs switching tasks in distribution cabinets and sub-distribution systems. Power is supplied via the USB port of the PC.

Software

The comprehensive Windows driver library (DELIB) enables consistent and very simple control of the modules in almost all commonly used programming languages, such as C/C++, Visual Basic, Delphi, C#, VB.NET, Java, LabView, ProfiLab, or Licht24.

After installing the DELIB, users also gain access to numerous preconfigured setup and test programs.
