USB Module with Option for 8 Relay Outputs or 8 Optocoupler Inputs
Due to high demand, DEDITEC GmbH from Brühl now offers a standalone USB module. The customer can choose between a version with 8 optocoupler inputs (USB-OPTOIN-8) or 8 relay outputs (USB-RELAIS-8).
The 8 input channels of the USB-OPTOIN-8 are designed for a standard switching voltage of 24V. Each input channel is also equipped with its own 16-bit counter, enabling the detection and counting of rapid input events.
The outputs of the USB-RELAIS-8 are implemented using 8 galvanically isolated relays. These relays support a maximum switching voltage of 36V DC (1A, 15 watts). A timeout protection function is included, which automatically switches off the module if no communication is received within a pre-defined time interval.
The compact module, measuring 77 x 67.5 x 55 mm (L x W x H), features a DIN rail mounting bracket for easy integration into distribution cabinets or subpanels. The module is powered directly via the USB port of the PC.
Software
The comprehensive Windows driver library (DELIB) allows for uniform and straightforward control of the module using virtually all common programming languages. In addition, after installing DELIB, users have access to a variety of preconfigured setup and test programs.
