Digital USB Input/Output Modules
The RO-USB series features USB-controlled relay and optocoupler modules intended for industrial environments, particularly for tasks involving measurement, control, and regulation.
USB Interface with Galvanic Isolation
A key feature of these new modules is the galvanic isolation between the USB interface and the module itself. This effectively protects the connected PC from voltage spikes that may occur when switching loads—an uncommon but highly valuable feature in the field of measurement technology.
Galvanic Isolation of Inputs and Outputs
The optocoupler inputs are designed for a standard switching voltage of 24V (30V–15V). They can also be reconfigured (even after delivery) for 5V–15V operation.
For outputs, users can choose between relay or optocoupler options. Relays can switch up to 1A DC Optocouplers can handle up to 2A DCThe galvanic isolation ensures reliable operation by preventing electrical interference (e.g., voltage spikes), thereby protecting the module from potential damage.
Connectors
Innovative pluggable connectors with locking mechanisms and auto-eject features allow for convenient reconfiguration of connected systems.
