UC-CAN 16-bit D/A converter with galvanic isolation – 2 channels

Our UC-CAN modules are stand-alone modules and have a USB and CAN interface with open CAN protocol. With the help of our automatic CAN RX/TX mode, CAN packets can be received or sent independently within a network. The UC-CAN-DA2-16_ISO module has 2 analog outputs with 16 bit resolution each.

Whether +-5V or +-10V or currents in the 0-20mA range are output with high precision thanks to the 16-bit D/A converter used. The new analog USB/CAN measuring box has two D/A channels that are completely independent of each other. This also results in galvanic isolation from each other and, of course, from the digital ground.

Outputting voltages with a longer cable path is no problem for the module. This is ensured by the two voltage outputs in conjunction with the two sense inputs. This means that 4 lines must be laid to the object, but the voltage drop is automatically compensated for by the D/A converter with longer lines thanks to the sense lines.
