Output voltage and current
D/A converters (digital-to-analog converters) generate an analog voltage or current from digital control signals. In automation technology, they are often used to control analog sensors, actuators, or power supplies.
Typical areas of application are:
- Control of power supplies
- Voltage sources for analog circuits
- Analog dimming in lighting systems
- Calibration of measuring instruments
- Control of actuators (e.g., valves, motors)
- Automated test systems (ATE)
- Signal and function generators
- Control of analog displays
For particularly interference-free applications, we offer modules with galvanic isolation. These are less sensitive to external influences and can be used in systems with different electrical potentials. Our D/A modules are ideal for precise analog control tasks in industrial automation and measurement systems.
