CANopen Scheme

The COS series are digital and analog I/O modules with CANopen interface. These products can be operated stand-alone as well as in a network. This makes the COS series ideally suited for almost all areas of application in modern automation technology.

In a network, the CAN bus and the power supply can be passed on via the In-Rail bus connector.

Advantages

With the help of the standardized CANopen protocol, the COS series is highly flexible and configurable. By meeting the CiA specifications CiA 301, CiA 305 and CiA 401, the COS series offers high efficiency.

The COS series has a compact housing and is equipped with a top-hat rail mount (TS-35) for quick and easy mounting. Pluggable connectors for I/Os enable convenient wiring and quick module replacement.

Communication

Communication takes place via standardized process data objects (PDO) or via service data objects (SDO). These are transmitted either cyclically or event-oriented.
