With the ProfiLab-Expert software you can develop your own digital or analogue metrological projects with stunning ease. No matter if analog measurements, digital controls or a combination of all – everything that can be controlled electrically can be realized. The best: You do not need to program a single line! You develop your circuit directly on the PC, add switches, buttons, displays, etc., and build your own project step by step.
The ProfiLab Expert software is a combination of DMM-ProfiLab and Digital-ProfiLab.
It offers all the features of the two individual products and in addition to this, it offers further functions such as the integrated compiler and the extensive hardware support.
The new version 4.0 is of course fully backward compatible to older versions. You can easily open and continue working on your old projects with the new version.
The operation of the software is kept very simple, so that you can use it intuitively after a short training period despite its complexity.
For the development of your project, the extensive component library contains all logical and arithmetic components for the combination and processing of your signals. There are not only the logical components (such as gates, flip-flops, counters, registers, Rom & Ram, etc.) but also many metrological components (such as triggers, formula modules, sample&hold links, comparators, etc.).
In addition, various display options are available: From a simple LED, to an XY recorder, from a pointer instrument to a table, you can use everything to display measured values and states on the front panel.
You develop your projects visually like a circuit diagram. Simply drag and drop the required components from the library onto your schematic and wire them accordingly. You can link the individual components with each other as you wish. So there are almost no limits to your imagination.
After you have completed your project, breathe life into it at the touch of a button.
Your project is simulated in real time. All incoming measured values and signals are processed and displayed immediately, exactly as you have implemented it in your measurement project. The simulation can of course be stopped at any time to make changes to the circuit.
During the simulation, you operate your circuit via a freely configurable front panel. All operating elements such as switches, push-buttons, but also indications such as displays, graphs or tables, can be present on this front panel. Design the front panel according to your wishes and label the individual elements. With a clearly arranged user interface you can professionally round off your project.
The new version works with a large number of hardware (multimeters, cards and external devices) from well-known manufacturers, so there should be something for everyone – from inexpensive to professional. Each hardware appears as a normal component in your circuit. Here you simply connect the desired inputs or outputs. You have never worked so easily with external hardware on your PC before. At the touch of a button, the PC simulates your circuit in real time. Incoming measured values are processed and signals are sent to the outside.
With the integrated compiler it is possible to turn finished projects into stand-alone applications. These applications, created by the ProfiLab software, can be started on any Windows PC without having to install the original software. The stand-alone application cannot be edited after compilation. It may be freely distributed by the owner of the original software. This way a complete software development system is created without writing a single line of program code.
