Fan monitoring for detecting the engine speed

This compact module is suitable for monitoring the speed of two fans. Here, the tachometer signal of the fan is monitored and evaluated. If a minimum speed is reached (eg. pollution or a motor standstill) an analyzable external signal can be accessed. Furthermore the "bad state" is signaled by an external connectable LED. For every engine both outputs (opto and LED) are available.
Furthermore, the module generates an engine speed voltage. This can be regulated from 1V ... 9V with a potentiometer and is used to adjust the rotation speed of the fan.
Connectors: Two 4-pin connectors are used to connect both fans to the module. The following pins are available for each motor: speed, tachometer, fan output and GND. Furthermore, control LEDs can be applied to another connector that reflect the status of the fan or the fan connectors.

Outputs
Outputs FAN1_OK and FAN2_OK on connector PWR
The PWR-side indicates the status of the fan outputs.
- Switching output FAN1_OK (The status of the a fan 1 is OK if 24V is reached . By 0V the status is not OK)
- Switching output FAN2_OK (The status of the a fan 2 is OK if 24V is reached . By 0V the status is not OK)
Control LEDs (connected via connector)
The two LEDs indicate the status of the fans. It is easy to see whether a defect exists.
- Access LED1 for Fan1 (Flashing lights when fan is attached. Permanent on when an error occurs, for example, the fans speed is to low)
- Access LED2 for Fan2 (Flashing lights when fan is attached. Permanent on when an error occurs, for example, the fans speed is to low)
